September 22, 2006, Liberty Pearce was born in Rexburg, Id at 1 pm. She weighed 8 lb. 12 oz. and was 21 in. long. The babies are now 3 months old and growin' like weeds. They are both 24 inches long and are 12.5 lb and 15 lb.!! (I'll let you guess which is which!) They like to look at each other and a few times I have caught them smiling at each other. SO CUTE!!They have been smiling and cooing and have found their hands. They are doing awesome and two weeks ago began sleeping through the night, mostly.

Many of you may not know that BOTH my parents are a twin ..... that's right! My mom has a twin brother and my dad has a twin sister. So, I guess I was bound from birth to also have twins. This is our swimming pool - an old water trough! That's ranch life. Kimber and Liberty love it and it is big enough for mom or dad to get in with them. They like to float on their backs while we hold the straps to their life jackets so they won't roll over. Liberty even put her face in the water once and didn't choke (it was kinda gross cause the water had yuck floating in it, but what can you do

The babies are 8 weeks old - What???!!!! Time has flown by and they are growing and changing and are getting cuter by the day. They are starting to sleep longer durring the night and are on a very nice 4 hour schedule durring the day. I am able to get more done and they are happier with more consistent naps. Baby girl was born at approx. 11:05 last night. Luke and Amber have a couple of goats they milk and I took the girls over one day to "help". Liberty only wanted to feed the goat but Kimber tried and tried until she got some milk out, with a little help from aunt Amber. She was thrilled with her success and then quit trying.

One day Kimber and Liberty dissapeared out the front door and when I went after them, this is what I found. True and his brother Luke were outside and Luke and put the girls on his horse "Blue" for a ride. Luke was teaching Kimber how to use the reins to steer the horse in the direction she wanted to go. Kimber picked up the idea pretty quick and had "Blue" going where she wanted. It was so cute

I figured with all of the talk of great deals on baby clothes and girl stuff that I would post one for the boys. I am now a big fan of Craigslist as I was able to buy myself a used set of E rated 265/70/17 truck tires for $15 a piece. New they cost a little over $700. They still have 70% life left. For all that didn't already know, we moved to New Plymouth (near Boise) in January to help True's dad on the ranch and get away from apartment life. We have enjoyed being in a house and having a yard to play in. The girls love going out with True to fead the horses and cows and ride the 4-wheeler around the lanes. I found this Painted Turtle while out hunting. I decided that Kimber and Liberty might get a kick out of it and decided to bring it home. We shoot 60 shots for record at 1000 yds. I shot a Winchester M70 Laredo 300 Win Mag. I competed in the F Class which means you can use a scope. The overall winner used iron sites 2 of the 3 rounds.
